Ollie's Tournament Report

After our fantastic victory in the Wickham market Tournament, Ollie wrote a report of his own of how the day went. I thought it was so good I've attached it for you all to enjoy.

FELIXSTOWE AND WALTON

Steve our manager was just telling us who is in the tournament. Wickham Market A and B, Felixstowe and Walton A and B, Martlesham, Witnesham Wasps. Steve was telling us who is in the A and who’s in the B. Ollie in goal, Sam in defense, Matty on the left wing, Connor right wing, Jake up front, and Jack sub first. [It’s five aside.] In the B team Brandon, Freddie, Aidan, Will, Ryan, Harley. Not all the B Team is in order.

Our first match was Wickham A team. We won 4 - 0! Next match we won 3 – 1. Next match against our B team we won - I think 5-0!! After that our player Jack got a tummy ache and couldn’t play. When we then played Witnesham Wasps it started to rain. There were a lot of chances in the first five minutes. I saved a few. I would have had to save more, but Sam in defense was doing great. [It’s five minutes a half.] In the second half we did good but not good enough. It finished 0-0. Then we had Martlesham - our last match!! We had our first shot and it went straight in!!! They had a lot of shots at first but none went in. Then the whistle went. We won 5 -0. We were in the final!!!!!!!!!!!

We wanted to watch our B team. I was training Brandon up for his last game. They hadn’t won a game so Brandon’s mum said every time you save a shot you get a pound and Will’s mum said every time you score you get 10 pounds. He got 45 pounds.
Then it was the final against Wasps! It was very, very hard. I had just kicked the ball up to Jake. He shot. The keeper saved it then Matty hit it first time and banged the first goal in! In the second half it was the last few minutes, Jake banged another in and we won the cup!!!!!!!!!!! It started to hail but we didn’t care. I lifted the trophy up third. It’s so good TO WIN!!!!!!!!!!
